If you produce digital products, you might find yourself producing a lot of reports and ebooks. After all, these products are easy to create and easy to distribute.
But you know what? If you add a little variety into your product offerings, you’re going to attract a wider swath of people. What’s more, certain types of products carry much higher perceived values than the report or ebook, which means you can boost your profits effortlessly.
Sounds good, right? So check out these 15 ideas for types of products you can create:
Ebooks /Reports: Here’s the classic text product we talked about at the beginning. Be sure to add some of these into your mix, as they are proven sellers.
Audios: This could be an audio version of a text product, or you can even record a teleseminar or interview. Either way, audios tend to carry higher perceived values than plain text products.
Videos: These can be talking head videos (where you simply look at the camera and share information), slide-share presentations, or even “how to” demonstrations. Videos tend to carry a higher perceived value than text products or audio products.
Webinars: You can offer access to live events, as well as selling the recordings or replays to the webinar.
Membership Sites: This is another product that can take on my forms, including:
- A vault-style membership site. This is where you stock the membership site with a lot of materials, which members can access immediately after they pay their one-time fee.
- An ongoing monthly membership site. Here’s where you provide fresh content regularly and/or continued access to a service in exchange for a monthly membership fee.
- A fixed-term membership site. Here you provide fresh content on a weekly basis for a fixed length of time, such as six months. This reduces the typical membership site churn rate and boosts profits.
